Rail Runner Re-opens for Students

Parents/Guardians:
We are happy to announce that dorm students may begin to use the Rail Runner Service on Fridays and to return to Santa Fe on Sundays.
Please read the following important information:
- Riders highly encouraged to wear masks. (required while riding on train)
- Students must use provided school bus transportation to and from the South Capitol station. No students shall walk to the station.
- Students must provide their own train fare with student ID.
- South Capitol to Kewa: $2 / to US550: $3 / to ABQ downtown: $4
- Station will be monitored by one staff member.
- Students will need parent permission to ride, parents must call dorm staff by each Thursday to add student to list.
- Sick students are not allowed to use public transportation.
Students will sign-out at dorm and get on school bus outside of the dorm.
**These are the only trains that students may use:**
Friday, 4/8 - Departure: Capitol Station @ 4:20pm (TRAIN #515)
KEWA: 4:57P / SANDOVAL/US550: 5:16P / ABQ Downtown: 5:50P

Sunday, 4/10 - Return: Capitol Station @ 7:50pm (TRAIN #706)
ABQ Downtown: 6:20P / SANDOVAL/US550: 6:52P / KEWA: 7:10P
KEWA PUEBLO respectfully requests all parents/guardians picking-up/dropping-off students @ Kewa Station to follow all tribal guidelines for COVID mitigation efforts: wear masks, show proof of vaccination (at checkpoints), stay in vehicle, and exit Kewa immediately after pick-up/drop-off.
- Parents please be at your specified station to pick up your child.
- Students should exhibit our core values when riding the train, any abuse of this riding privilege will result in the student not being able to ride the train in the future
