Bus Drivers (SY 24-25)

Salary: $20.87 - $23.48 / hr. depending on experience

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED; Current Class B CDL with P/S endorsement. SFIS is willing to provide paid training to the right committed candidate to attain required license & endorsements. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Description:

1. Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons
2. Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times
3. Obey all traffic laws
4. Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route
5. Ensure safety of all students
6. Discipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environment
7. Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required
8. Attend  meetings and training as scheduled

Conditions of Employment: Able to comply with the immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; obtain a successful Criminal History Background Check as per PL 101-647 and 45 CFR 1301; must provide official transcripts; and SFIS Superintendent approval.
