STUDENT WELLNESS DIRECTOR
Maria Brock, LCSW (Laguna/Santa Clara Pueblos) is the Student Wellness Director for Santa Fe Indian School. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a licensed Level III School Social Worker. She received her bachelor degree from the University of New Mexico and her Master of Social Welfare-Direct Practice Community Mental Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Her areas of practice have included direct mental health services for children, teens and families, adults seeking substance abuse recovery, early childhood mental health, evidence based and culturally relevant prevention programming and school based mental health services. Her favorite part of working at Santa Fe Indian School is the feeling of family that is shared with everyone in the school community. Her favorite thing about working with teens is continually being inspired by their new ideas and hopefulness. Teenagers bring such passion to everything they do! Her personal interests include gardening, cooking and raising her 4 beautiful children. She relaxes by going hiking and taking walks with her family.
