Description:

Responsible for counseling, referrals, clinical assessments, development and implementation of individual treatment plans, safety plans, and case management/care coordination for identified students. Works collaboratively with others to promote the wellbeing of students.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Must have LHMC, LPCC, LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent, license. One (1) year of experience in counseling, preferably with Native American students. Must maintain required continuing education (CEs) and other requirements necessary to maintain professional licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Native American students and Native American or Tribal entities, preferred.

Description:

Responsible for case management, coordinator of services, assist with check-ins for referrals, complete required consent for treatment forms, provide crisis intervention, educating family and ensuring clients receive the best possible care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree (Human Services, Psychology or related field) and 1-2 years of experience in case management, social services or human services.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field, preferred.  CPSW's will be considered.  Experience working with Native American students and Native American or Tribal entities, preferred.

Description:

Provides academic counseling for students and informational services for students and parents.  Assists students with college and career planning.  The Counselor acts as a liaison between Academic and Student Living Departments to assure acquisition of quality education.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling with NM State Counselor licensure.  One year experience in academic counseling, preferably with Native American Students.

The Teacher will provide guidance and instructional experience in specified course of study that are culturally, academically, and developmentally appropriate for each student assigned to that classroom using a variety of instructional practices to meet our student's holistic needs; this means selecting Native approaches to education guided by SFIS Pedagogy to implement the SFIS Curriculum and Health and Wellness Program.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree; valid New Mexico Teaching License with Math endorsement.  Experience teaching Native American Students, preferred.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Must have at least 32 post-secondary semester hours in an applicable academic discipline, including fields related to working with children (child development, education, behavioral sciences, and cultural studies).

Preferred Qualifications

Five (5) years of experience working with adolescent Native American students, previous experience working in a residential or academic setting, knowledge of school and dormitory policies, preferred.
