If you are submitting a picture of the card, be sure that it is clear and that the vaccination dates are easy to read.

The Board of Trustees have approved an in-person re-entry for SY21-22
Re-Entry Information
The first day of school is August 16th and the dormitories will open on August 15th at 4pm.
Academic Program:
- SFIS’ middle and high school academic programs will return to pre-pandemic in-person course schedules, offerings, curriculum, and instruction. Students will benefit most from the interactive and collaborative design of the SFIS curriculum when engaging and collaborating with their peers, teachers, and staff and when accessing all on-campus resources and services. For this reason, SFIS strongly encourages in-person learning in SY21-22.
- SFIS will offer a short-term online option for students and families who are not yet comfortable returning to SFIS’ campus. This option will be provided for Quarter 1 and its continuation will be determined on a quarterly basis. Students who select this option must commit to it for the entire quarter and can switch to in-person learning for Quarter 2. If your student will enroll in the online option for Quarter 1, you must complete the Online Option Form (below) by August 2nd.
Student Living Program:
- SFIS’ middle and high school dormitories will open for students who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Students who submit exemptions to the COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate will not be allowed to stay in the dormitories for Quarter 1. The vaccination criteria for SFIS dorms will be revisited for Quarter 2.
- All students who stay in the dormitories will attend in-person classes during the day. Dorm students cannot enroll in the online option.

Vaccination Requirements
SFIS is requiring all students and staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before coming to campus this year. You must submit your student’s vaccination card or exemption form to SFIS by email or mail by August 2nd.
