Po'pay Day - Indigenous People Celebration

The Santa Fe Indian School (SFIS) Community invites you to join us for our Annual Santa Fe Indian School PO'PAY Feast Day on October 9, 2017 in Celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day. The SFIS Feast Day will commemorate PO'PAY and the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 as a significant historical event that reclaimed and maintained the Pueblo Culture, as we know it today. Students and Staff will sponsor a day of celebration with presentations, traditional dances, fashion show, Pueblo Throw, Memorial Run, and vendors throughout the day.
10:30 AM Commemorative Run
Traditional Dances start at 12 Noon.
