Distance Learning Technology Update

SFIS Device Update for New and Returning Students:
School starts on Monday, 8/24!
Returning Students: Time to test your Chromebooks to make sure that 1) it powers on and 2) that you can sign-in. We know of some hardware issues from the tech survey and will deliver you a new Chromebook. If you haven’t already reported it but discover a problem, contact SFIS IT immediately! Others may need to swap PC and Chromebooks depending on your class schedule. If your Chromebook is damaged and you need it swapped out this week, you must report the issue by Wednesday, 8/19 at 5pm.
New Students: You will be provided a Chromebook to start the year unless you are in an applied computer class, then you will receive a PC. We are confirming shipping addresses for far off families so please answer our calls.
We are planning to distribute devices in your community at the end of the week for all of the needs above. We will send specific instructions on mid-week.
