Continuous School Improvement
The Continuous School Improvement (CSI) Department oversees the school's continuous improvement process with the goal of making ongoing progress toward SFIS' vision of becoming the leader in Native American education and mission of fostering Ideal Graduates. This includes collaborating with directors to:
- develop and facilitate internal accountability and improvement systems driven by SFIS’ strategic planning and program goals and plans; and
- ensure compliance with external accountability measures and regulations.
In addition, the CSI Department is responsible for federal program oversight, including interfacing with the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) and managing compliance with BIE and Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) grants.
