Announcements:

Important Dates for Seniors:

  • April 15th: Senior Fees are due 

  • May 7th: Senior Parent Meeting (Mandatory for all students attending the Senior Trip. This meeting will cover other topics as well.)

  • May 12th: SHP Symposium

  • May 15th & 16th: Senior Trip to Durango, Colorado (overnight)

  • May 17th: SFCC Graduation (for those in the SFCC program)

  • May 20th-23rd: Final Exams

  • May 23rd: Graduation Rehearsal (mandatory) in the Pueblo Pavilion, after lunch.

  • May 23rd: Senior Banquet @ Black Mesa Casino Showroom. Doors open at 5pm.

  • May 30th: Graduation @ 10:00am in the Pueblo Pavilion

Fees: Must be paid by April 15th!

  • General Student Fee $50.00
  • Senior Fee $50.00

  • Cap & Gown Fee $40.00

*All parents/guardians - Remind your students of the 6 weeks restriction rules in our Student Handbook! If a student has a violation within 6 weeks of graduation, their ability to participate in the events listed below will be restricted.*

  • Go to sfis.k12.nm.us/community/finance to purchase any of the following:

  • USBs with Senior Portraits -$10 - Once paid for, USBs can be picked up from Erica McFadden. Students can bring cash payment to Melinda Arquero in the Administration Building.

Copyright has been waived and you can print these at any business.

  • Yearbooks - $40 (You can pay ahead of time if you’d like, but it is not required.)

Caps and Gowns will be given to students at the Senior Banquet on May 23rd. (See more Banquet details below). 

  • Contact Seatha Pacheco (spacheco@sfisonline.org) if you would like to get your cap before then, or if you would like to borrow a gown for your personal senior pictures. 

  • Caps and gowns usually get delivered to the school around early-mid April.

    • Caps and Gowns are expected to be delivered by the last week in April.

Tom Quaid of National Recognition Products shared a brief presentation at our February meeting. All seniors should have received an ordering package in the mail. If you did not receive one, there are extras at the school.

Senior Banquet, Black Mesa Casino Showroom (May 23rd)

  • Doors open at 5pm.

  • All seniors are allowed 2 guests (and ONLY 2 guests, no matter how young or old). 

  • Catered by Whole Hog Cafe (Barbeque). If you or your student are vegetarians, or have other dietary restrictions, please let me know ASAP via email. (rgchachu@sfisonline.org

 

Graduation, PPWC (May 30th) @ 10:00am
  • Graduates must be dressed in traditional attire in order to participate in the commencement ceremony. More information is forthcoming about the details and various concerns. Questions about graduation can be directed to Principal North (ejnorth@sfisonline.org).
