GUTS is an acronym for Growing Up Thinking Scientifically. GUTS is a year-long computational science program for SFIS Middle and High School students. Students learn how to program computers to make models to solve scientific problems. They also regularly conduct research and field activities and give presentations on their work.
The faculty advisor for GUTS is Kate Sallah.
